Join the Choir
Voices In Praise, Men's Choir, and Children's Choir are open to all students who desire to sing, make the commitment to the group, and follow the guidelines for participation. Singers are not required to be a member of any church or to have any background in singing. The choirs of VIP are open to everyone, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or gender identity. VIP promotes a culture of tolerance, respect, and kindness, and expects all singers and parents to do the same.

Rehearsal Schedule
VIP kicks off the year with Rally Night on Monday, August 31.
Voices In Praise (Grades 6 - 12) rehearses from 6:15pm - 8pm.
Monday, Sept. 14 - New Rehearsal Schedule Starts!

6:15pm - 8:00pm - Everyone!
Once a month, the Middle & High School Choirs have a combined Monday night dinner and rehearsal from 6 pm - 8 pm. On these nights, Chamber and Men's Choir will rehearse as scheduled.
New singers are always welcome to come try rehearsal. You might give the Director a heads up so we're ready for you - but even if you don't, you are always welcome to just show up and come on in! We'll be happy to see you!
Uniforms
Members of Voices In Praise wear formal uniforms for every performance.
Additionally, all members of Voices In Praise are asked to purchase a black VIP Performance T for casual performances.
VIP Girls
Grades 6 - 12
Girls pay a refundable deposit of $75 for a floor-length uniform dress. This amount is refunded when the singer leaves the choir and returns her uniform. Girls should wear black dress shoes and black pantyhose (as needed). In winter months, singers may add a black sweater. Singers are given silver sashes for most performances that they wear and return immediately after the performance.
VIP Guys
Grades 6 - 12
Boys should purchase long sleeve black dress shirt with black buttons, and wear it with black pants, black socks, black shoes, and black belt with silver buckle. Singers are given silver bow ties for each performance that they wear and return. Children's Choir guys are also given silver suspenders to wear/return.
We have black dress shirts in boys' sizes available for purchase for $25.
